FoHA has plenty of friends

We would like to voice our support for Friends of Homeless Animals.

Our family decided, after many years with only fish and hamsters, to get a dog. We knew of FoHA through their many outreach activities in the community. We have neighbors who have adopted from FoHA. We visited FoHA – as anyone can on Saturdays and Sundays.

We met a wonderful dog and we adopted her. We have gone in to this with FULL knowledge of FoHA’s rules and we greatly appreciate them.

Our dog has not come without challenges, but we worked through them – in contact with FoHA volunteers – and have a loving and loyal pet. We believe the recent depiction of the kennels at FoHA and the description of FoHA as a “faceless” organization does a grave disservice to the organization and the many volunteers whose only goal is the humane, loving treatment of animals. Please count us in the number of the many, many, “Friends” of FoHA.
