Tallahassee rallies for World Series title
Tallahassee, Fla. are the champions of the 2007 Babe Ruth 13U World Series, held Aug. 17-24 at Fireman's Field in Purcellville.
Trailing 6-0 against Bakersfield, Calif. in the fourth inning of Friday's championship game, Tallahassee scored the game's final seven runs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning to capture a 7-6 victory.
Here's a breakdown of the tournament's single-elimination playoffs. All 10 teams in the tourney played four pool play games over the first five days of the event. The top three teams from each of the two, five-team divisions advanced to the playoffs.
