Kenwood School recognized

The private, Annandale-based Kenwood School was recognized recently by non-profit Starlight MidAtlantic for raising thousands of dollars towards seriously ill children.

Students at the elementary school walked two-and-a-half miles around the school, raising nearly $4,000, almost enough to fund the construction of a Fun Center, mobile interactive entertainment units that provide distractive therapy to hospitalized children.
