Man arrested for grand larceny, threatening language

An Arlington man was arrested for stealing X-rays from a dentist's office and then berating the investigating police officer on the telephone. On July 2 at 6:10 p.m., the victim told police that the suspect had taken X-rays and other paperwork from the office of Dr. Charles Kirksey, 10777 Main St. in Fairfax City, without permission.

The officer then called the suspect “and was verbally assaulted on the telephone,” police said.

The following day at 9:30 p.m., Kevin Lam, 51, of 521 South Lancaster St., was arrested and charged with grand larceny and using “profane, threatening language over the telephone,” police said. Bond was set at $2,000.
