HHS' Richard Bergman, JoAnn Skinner step down

Richard Bergman, band director at Herndon High School, has retired after 30 years. His final HHS concerts took place on May 29 and June 1. JoAnn Skinner, vice president of the Herndon High School Band Parents Association, has also stepped down after five years. "I will be handing off my duties to Dresden Scott. Her son is a gifted tuba player and her husband is president of the HHS Band Board. I leave you in good hands," Skinner said in a release.
