Fairfax County School Board reduces school year

The Fairfax County School Board has voted to reduce the 2007-08 standard school year calendar by two days, making Friday, June 13, the last day of school for most Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students.
The last day for year-round elementary school students will be Tuesday, June 17, and May 30 will be the last day for year-round secondary school students.
