Reston master plan process community meeting

Hunter Mill District Supervisor Catherine Hudgins (D) will host a community meeting June 3 to discuss the planning process for the review of the portion of the Comprehensive Plan relating to Reston Master Plan.

In March of 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved amendments to the Planned Residential Community (PRC) Zoning Ordinance. At that time it was recommended that a review of the Reston Master Plan be addressed at a later time.

The June 3 meeting will be the first step in creating a process to review portions of the Reston Master Plan.

The meeting will be held at St. Thomas a Becket's Findaly Hall, located at 1421 Wiehle Avenue in Reston. 20190. Displays will be available at 7 p.m., with the meeting starting at 7:30 p.m.
