Still Reeling

'Sex and the City' (R)

Starring: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon

The ladies are back, this time in a movie, and it seems women everywhere are dying to see it. You are promised more of the same sex, love and fashion if you are a fan of the HBO series. Opens Friday, May 30.

'The Strangers' (R)

Starring: Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman

Lock the door and pretend you’re safe, they say. A young couple spends time in a vacation home only to realize that they are not alone. Opens Friday, May 30.

'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian' (PG)

Starring: Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley

The next in the C.S. Lewis series of popular children’s books takes a decidedly darker tone. The imagery stands out, and the film has an incredible look and feel.

'Speed Racer' (PG)

Starring: Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci

This is visually stunning; unfortunately, it’s also about 30 minutes too long. No question, this is a very different experience with film, to say the least.

'What Happens In Vegas' (PG-13)

Starring: Cameron Diaz, Ashton Kutcher

Sometimes you laugh at unusual humor and sometimes you don’t know why you laugh. This film is predictable, but funny at times. I still can’t believe they are only in Vegas for about 10 minutes of the whole movie.

'Iron Man' (PG-13)

Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard

The perfect start to a summer at the movies, this film is funny and action-packed and will get your blood pumping. Robert Downey Jr. is the ideal choice to play Tony Stark.

'Made of Honor' (PG-13)

Starring: Patrick Dempsey, Michelle Monaghan

Every girl wants a best friend as lovable as Patrick Dempsey, but what happens when the best friend wants more?

'Son of Rambow' (PG-13)

Starring: Neil Dudgeon, Will Poulter

Worth searching for, this film starts slow but really delves into some great life lessons. Imagine if the first thing you ever saw on a television was "First Blood." Yikes!

'Baby Mama' (PG-13)

Starring: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler

Fun and funny, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler work so well together that you just can’t wait for the next time they act together. Don’t know what a Baby Mama is? See the film!
