By coachcuffee
Playing for the second time in two weeks, NVCA fell to crosstown rival ISA 58-37 in Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference play. NVCA closed an early ISA double-digit led to just 5 points at the break. Sparked by consecutive 3 pointers to start the third period, ISA went on 10-0 run and never looked back. Zim Smith came off the bench to sparked a late NVCA rally that cut ISA's lead to 13 midway through the fourth quarter, but it was not enough. Smith led NVCA in scoring, finishing the game with 11 points. NVCA next hosts Fairfax Home School in a conference game next Monday.
