Obituary

Donald L. Sayer

Died May 4, 2008
 

Donald Lawrence Sayer, 69, of Watertown, N.Y., a U.S. Marine Corps veteran formerly of Reston, died May 4 at his home in Florida.

A service will be held May 16 at 11 a.m. at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel in Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.

Mr. Sayer was born Jan. 11, 1939, to the late Stanley W. Sayer and Eleanor Donovan Sayer. He lived in Reston from 1979 until about 2002. He retired from Lockheed Martin, where he had been a software manager.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Sayer of Watertown; two daughters, Lynda Francis of Fredericksburg, and Catherine Sayer of Herndon; a brother, Stanley W. Sayer of Williamsville, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
